Complete the referral form online
You can complete the referral form conveniently online, no printout, no fax. It records the patient, the pet owner, the reason for referral and the desired specialist clinic. After submission we get in touch promptly to arrange an appointment.
For referring vets
We see ourselves as a reliable partner to the primary-care veterinary practices in the region. When a patient needs an advanced examination, a specialist clinic or a procedure, we take this on specifically, and return your patients to you afterwards for ongoing care. We keep you informed about findings and treatment course so that the care stays in your hands.
Areas we accept referrals for
We accept referrals for the following focus areas, among others:
- Cardiology: cardiac ultrasound and cardiological work-up.
- Dermatology: skin, ear and allergy clinic.
- Ophthalmology: eye examination and ophthalmological diagnostics.
- Surgery: soft-tissue and advanced surgical procedures.
- Dental medicine: dental X-ray and dental treatment.
- Diagnostics: ultrasound and advanced imaging.
- Physiotherapy and inpatient care.
An overview of all focus areas is available on the Services page.
For referred pet owners
If your primary-care practice has referred your pet to us, you are in the right place. The referral itself is usually arranged by the referring practice. As the pet owner, you simply need to attend the agreed appointment and bring the existing documents with you. After the specialist clinic, ongoing care for your pet is taken over again by your trusted practice.
Which documents matter
So that the appointment runs smoothly and repeat examinations are avoided, any existing prior findings are very helpful:
- Previous diagnoses and findings reports from the referring practice.
- Laboratory results as well as X-ray, ultrasound or other imaging.
- Details of current medication and the treatment course so far.
- Your pet's vaccination record or small-pet passport.
