How this page works

An overview — not a sales page.

We maintain several location pages because the journey can differ significantly from one region to the next: from Querum it is a few minutes through the Schunter floodplain, from Heidberg you take the A39 and the B248, and from Schandelah you simply turn the corner. Rather than mixing all of that on one page, the cards below take you straight to the region you live in, with a brief estimate of typical travel times and a link to the matching detail page. If a different practice is closer for you, we will say so openly, good veterinary medicine is not about the longest possible drive.

Where are you travelling from?

The following pages describe directions, districts and typical travel times in detail. All travel times are rough guidelines without traffic jams or rush-hour congestion.

Braunschweig-East

Querum, Volkmarode, Hondelage, Riddagshausen, Schapen, Bevenrode. Most journeys go via the B1 or the A2 (exit Cremlingen), usually 8–15 minutes.

Braunschweig-South

Stöckheim, Mascherode, Heidberg, Melverode, Rautheim. Journeys via the A39 or the southern ring road, typically 15–25 minutes.

Sickte, Cremlingen & nearby villages

Samtgemeinde Sickte (Sickte, Hötzum, Apelnstedt, Volzum, Evessen) and Cremlingen districts (Weddel, Schandelah, Hordorf, Destedt, Abbenrode, Klein Schöppenstedt). Here we genuinely are the nearest practice. Usually under 10 minutes.

Practical information at a glance

Address, opening hours, parking.

The practice is located at Im Moorbusche 100, 38162 Cremlingen, around 10–12 kilometres east of central Braunschweig. Free parking spaces are available right in front of the building, including an accessible space, and the entrance is on ground level and barrier-free. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00; on Saturdays and Sundays the practice is closed. For emergencies, our emergency service applies: on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. we look after acute cases from the region ourselves or refer to partner practices. Appointments can be booked around the clock via termin.vet/cremlingen, or by phone on 05306 / 5722841.

For your first visit it helps to bring the vaccination record and, if available, any previous findings from your former practice. You can find more about the breadth of our work on the services overview, from preventive care and dentistry to surgery, diagnostics and small pets.

Frequently asked questions about getting here

What pet owners from the region often ask.

Which location page is the right one for me?

If you live east of the city centre (Querum, Volkmarode, Riddagshausen, Schapen, Hondelage, Bevenrode), Braunschweig-East is the right starting point. If you live south of the centre (Stöckheim, Mascherode, Heidberg, Melverode, Rautheim), use Braunschweig-South. From Sickte, Cremlingen or the nearby villages, Sickte, Cremlingen & surroundings will take you directly to the information you need.

Am I really "near" you from my region?

For pet owners in Cremlingen, Weddel, Schandelah, Sickte and the directly bordering Braunschweig districts, we are genuinely the nearest small animal practice. For the southernmost districts of Braunschweig (e.g. Heidberg, Melverode) or large parts of Wolfsburg, another practice may sometimes be closer. Please take an honest look at Google Maps to see what works for you.

Do you treat dogs, cats and small pets?

Yes. We are a small animal practice, with focal areas in dentistry, surgery, internal medicine and small pet medicine, among others. We do not treat large animals (horses, livestock).
